Institute founder, Trish Green, a former physical education teacher has been an esthetician and spa owner. She holds Cidesco Diplomat status which is an internationally recognized esthetic certification and is constantly involved in ongoing postgraduate studies.  Trish is involved in esthetics North America wide, frequently invited as a guest speaker at professional trade show events.

A licensed professional Aromatherapist, she has studied medical aromatherapy with Dr. Penoel in France. She has also studied with Eve Taylor (considered worldwide as the pioneer of modern aromatherapy) and teaches the Eve Taylor Techniques and Aromatherapy programs throughout North America. Trish has also been a student of Gabriel Mojay, Rhiannon Harris, Robert Tisserand and Kurt Schabault.  For several years, she was Education Chair of the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapy. She is an advocate for raising standards in education for Complementary Health Care Practitioners with a special interest in Aromatherapy.

Trish is a certified teacher of the Bach Flower International Education Programme and program coordinator for Canada.  She is also a Doctor of Homeopathy with a special interest in women’s health issues.    Her holistic attitude is reflected in the healing approach she brings to the institute.        

 

Chris is a self avowed people person devoted to her craft. She has enjoyed being a Balnea instructor for the last 10 years. Chris is a practising CFA Aromatherapy Health Professional and Certified Advanced Reflexologist as well as a CFA recognized instructor.

 

She also developed and teaches Balnea's basic Foot Reflexology and Indian Head Massage as well as our advanced courses in Hand Reflexology and Hot Stone Reflexology. Chris teaches many of our Aromatherapy courses.

 

A true life long learner, Chris has blended her love of Aromatherapy and Reflexology with her travels taking her for training and conferences as far away as France and Australia.

Chris regularly involves her students in Wellness Spa Days through a local Hospice Wellness Program where she is a committed volunteer.      

Margaret originally graduated from the Ontario College of Reflexology, and holds a certificate in hand and foot Reflexology.  Desiring more knowledge in holistic treatments, Margaret continued her education with Balnea School of Holistic Therapies. She graduated in 2008, Margaret now holds a wide range of experience in aesthetic and complimentary procedures, including advanced peels, hot stone massage, aromatherapy, Indian head massage, and Reiki.  Margaret’s goal is to provide the most professional and highest standards of Aesthetic services and complimentary therapies.

We are proud to be the only school in Canada with two certified CFA aromatherapy instructors, both are also approved CFA examiners and internationally trained by some of the worlds most well known experts in the field.
