The
Balnea Institute was founded in 1994. Originally
located in Waterdown, just 40 minutes west of
Toronto, the Institute started to service the
needs of post graduate estheticians and spa
industry professionals.

Mission Statement
The Balnea Institute is committed to training candidates
who are equally committed to their clients' health and
well-being. Our aim is to provide students with clear,
accurate information, to empower personal growth and
maximize success. Positive thinking is part of our
ongoing commitment as well as to provide a supportive
environment with a team of dedicated, experienced
professionals, that can provide a learning experience
that is crucial and pivotal to the next stage of
personal growth.

In 2003, under the leadership of Trish Green (B. Ed., DiHom (Pract), B.F.R.P., C.F.A.P.), the school moved to
expanded premises in Burlington, Ontario . Since
then (in 2007), Balnea has moved again to an even larger
premises.
Our new and expanded curriculum offers a wide range of
complementary health care programs to service the
ever-increasing demands of the natural health care
industry.
The Programs
We are proud to offer the highest quality education. All
instructors are certified as teachers within their
profession and offer many years of personal experience
in their field. Each program is certified by its
professional governing body, as well as being recognized
by local municipalities for licensing purposes. The
Institute offers programs for existing practitioners for
professional development or for those wishing to embark
on an exciting new career. |
