August 9-12 & August 16-19 2010

This course is appropriate for anyone wishing to gain or expand their knowledge of Aromatherapy. Aromatherapy is one of the fastest growing areas in complementary therapy. Today more people are turning to Aromatherapy to enhance the quality of their lives.

Step 1:

Prerequisite: Introduction to Aromatherapy—(available by distance learning) prerequisite to Steps 2 & 3

Learn the history, fundamental concepts & philosophy which form the basis of aromatherapy. Complete this section with a look at Aromatherapy First Aid.

Step 2: The Basic Treatment  (Aug 9-12 )

If you have never done body work this is for you! Combine lymph drainage techniques and essential oils to be able to provide a 1 hour clinical aromatherapy massage.

Step 3: Science & Blending of Essential Oils 2 (Aug 16-19)

Profile 30 essential oils, 10 carrier oils , their properties, uses & safety. Learn methods of use, dilutions, and blending using recipes.

Cost: $950.00 & gst for all 3 steps (payable in 3 installments)

Successfully complete all 3 steps and you will be provided with a Balnea certificate in “Basic Aromatherapy”.

Additional costs: The Complete Guide to Aromatherapy (textbook)

                                Student essential oil kit  includes 19 essential oils and 2 carrier oils.
