Course content:
Massage techniques have been used for centuries to
treat all sorts of maladies. The Chinese, the Romans and many other ancient
and modern cultures have utilized massage for their various aches and pains.
Massage:

blood and lymph

· Increases
oxygen and nutrition to all cells
· Improves
the removal of harmful by-products of
metabolism,
· exercise
and inflammations from injury
· Lessens
excessive muscle tension caused by stress, injury or occupational stresses

athletic performance
This
relaxation massage technique is
complementary to other alternative care modalities. It is an important skill
for estheticians working in spas.
