Iridology
Beginning Wednesday, April 14, 2010 for 10
consecutive Wednesdays (9-4)
We have all
heard the expression "the eyes are the window to the
soul." But are the eyes the window to the body as
well? Iridology is the scientific practice which
involves correlating the markings and patterns of the
iris to reflex manifestations and bodily malfunctions
among the organs of the body. By studying the eye,
a clients overall health as well as his or her
inherent weaknesses can be revealed.
The iris contains hundreds of nerve endings which are
attached to the optic nerve, the base of the brain, and
all of the tissues of the body. Therefore, the
neural circuitry of the eye is able to express the
continuity of the body. Weaknesses in the body
tissues or organs often show up in the eye before they
show up on medical tests.
Iridology is used as a diagnostic tool rather than a
treatment. It is not a medical exam or a
definitive diagnosis of disease. Rather, it
proposes to recognize the following:
- Toxins and their locations
- Stages of Inflammation
- Inherent Weaknesses or Strength
- General Health Level
- Biochemical Deficiencies
Iridology represents a holistic approach to health care
because it attempts to analyze weaknesses in all the
tissues of the body. The eye is seen merely as an
instrument unlocking the many symptoms of the body.
