Reflexology is a natural, non-invasive healing art
that is based on the principle that there are reflexes
in the feet as well as the hands and ear that correspond
to every part of the body. There is virtually a
"mini-map" of the body on the feet with the toes
representing the head; the ball of the foot, the chest
area; the soft part of the foot, the internal organs;
and the heel of the foot, the pelvic region in our body.
By working the reflexes using specific pressure
techniques, Reflexology helps promote natural
functioning of the body systems and allows it to heal
itself. Reflexology relieves stress and tension,
improves circulation and helps to balance the physical,
mental and emotional aspects of the whole process.
The reflexology program is recognized by RRCO. We are
proud to offer a reflexology course that is quite
different from the traditional courses currently offered
at other institutes. Our course is intended for the
serious practitioner and is therefore more extensive in
all areas of study. Some exemptions may apply for those
existing therapists with relevant experience or
education.

the theory and practice of working the hands.
Similar to the feet, the hands have reflex points that
reflect all the parts of the body. The student
will be able to perform a 15-30 minute session upon
completion of this course.
Hand reflexology is deeply relaxing as well as
therapeutic and can be used alone or in conjunction with
foot reflexology or any other complementary health
session or as an "add-on" service for esthetic services
like manicures, facials or body wraps. The
convenience of Hand Reflexology also makes an efficient
way to do self treatments in cases of headaches,
migraines, digestive upsets, colds and sinus congestion.
This course is suitable for students who have completed
Basic Foot Reflexology or Certified Foot Reflexologists.
