COURSE HIGHLIGHTS
Indian Head Massage
An ancient Ayurvedic treatment of
the head, neck and shoulders.
Use as a single treatment or as an addition to hair services or
spa pedicures. To obtain a
certificate of qualification students must complete 12 case studies followed by
an exam (with an extra fee), otherwise a certificate of attendance will be

Aromatherapy Basics
Students will profile commonly used essential oils and
carrier oils with properties, indications and safety data. Blending of
essential oils using step by step recipes is the first introduction to
developing aromatherapy products.
Special emphasis is placed on skin care and spa recipes.
Reflexology
“When the head is angry, massage the feet.”
This ancient Chinese approach to stress has, over time, proved to be an
invaluable approach to stress management.
Students will discover the basics of acupressure techniques on the feet
(reflexology).

Reiki Level 1
You will be introduced to Reiki,
what it is and what is not. You will learn Reiki history, benefits, hand
positions, body treatment techniques and words of wisdom. You will practice full
body treatments, meditation and group treatments. The human energy field,
chakras, client records, case histories, creating a healing room and more will
be discussed.

Nutrition for Skin &
Body Treatments
Beauty is skin deep. Heal your client
first from the inside out. When treating
clients with specific skin conditions, clients require more specific
recommendations. Students will learn
which supplements to recommend for skin conditions, detoxification, weight loss
and anti-aging programs.
